Hy everyone! Can someone say what does he think about this Half life theme? It isn't anything special, but I have working only with Paint! And I made it for about 5 mins.
I want your opinion.
These themes look better when you transfer them to phone. Anyone who want to try these themes, just let me know, and i'll send as soon as I can (via mail, I don't have link!)!

OK I am here
let's start with the good points
First of all I think you've done very well on the colour combinations and you've kept all the text legible, which is important. I quite like that.
Is this your first theme by the way? It's a very good effort.
There are a few things i would change though. the K700 has a fabulous screen and the themes allow for much more than we used to be able to do before. One of those things is that the K700 themes can have transparent highlights (when saved as 24 png) and personally, i think i would have chosen a highlight that would be a bit more subtle and that would also reveal the image below. After all.... themes are all about images.
I would do the same for the title bars, leave just enough of the background image visible to make it fluent.
I have to admit I have not worked with Paint for ages, so I am not really up to date as to what it can or cannot do. Perhaps it doesn't do .png files???
In any case i think it's a good theme

have you got a K700 yourself? Must look good on the phone

Thanks for reply, I'll do my best to fix it!

@Vlammetje - is there any chance you can send me the info on imageing editing programs as I have seen your themes and really like some of the effects that you use.

Like the bright colours in the second theme. would look good with a transparent highlight though. (Seen it done but not sure how to do it myself!)

Nice themes!
@parksie The easiet way to create transparent images is to use photoshop. Create you highlight bar size and use something like the gradient tool to get a colour change, ie green to black. Then change the opacity down from 100% to 50% or lower. The lower the number the easier it will be to see the background image. Then go to save for web on the file menu. Change the file type to PNG24bit and press save (making sure the transparecy box is ticked). Then just load the image into theme creator in the same way as normal, and the image will be see through.
This is very brief i know, but should give you a general idea of what you need to get this to work.
