> Blue background on reception bars

Hey i dont know what happened but i realised that around my reception bars there is a blue square behind. how can i remove it? it looks ugly =(. its not supposed to be there i think.

It is supposed to be there as it shows that you have a GPRS signal allowing you to connect to gprs to browse the internet/wap

no the globe shows that you are connected to the GPRS. The blue square shows that you have a GPRS signal, allowing you to connect, which will make the globe appear.
Same as the green phone icon, the signal bars are always there, but the green phone icon only appears when you make a call.

actually you can...ive got a z600 and t68 and this is wat i do: go to menu-> connectivity-> data comm.-> preferred service-> then select GSM only. hope dat helps
