Ill be posting the letter to say im canceling my contract and to give me my PAC so i can go to 3 this afternoon. I have no intention of doing so, just want the best deal possible
Do you think they will send me an unbranded phone if i ask for one? ive read about a lot of people picking these up in highstreet shops for no extra cost, which would indicate that they might! (phones4u included!)
I am sick to death of the voda icons and reduced shortcut functions, and i would rather not have to buy a terminator dongle/Syncstation + credits just to remove somthing that should NOT be there in the first place.
Tell me what you think
p.s whats the best deal anyones got from the outbound ppl and what did you say to make them give it you?

I posted my letter last week and Got a phonecall from singlepoint on thursday afternoon. After telling them that I was going to go to O2 because they would give me the phoone for free and a short argument where the salesman tried to tell me that Vodafone did not disable any features he agreed to send me a free unbranded phone on voda crossnet 200 (200 any network mins, 50 texts and some free GPRS) for £27 a month.
Phone arrived this morning so I can confirm that he was true to his word and did send an original phone. Can't wait to finish work now so I can take it off charge and have a play with it.

So you got your phone before your conract was actually up then? i guess it doenst matter to them if you get it 3 weeks before your up, as your still tied in for another 12 months.
Did you feel that to press for any reduced line rental/ cash back (ala onestopphoneshop.co.uk) etc etc would be pushing your luck?

My contract was up before I wrote the letter.
I was so happy to get an unbranded K700 (After my branded T610 last time!) that I was not bothered about anything else, the price of the line rental has dropped by about a fiver from last year anyway!

Called singlepoint to get the address to send my letter too and they wanted to put me through to the accounts managment team before they would give it me!
Waited a bit on hold and then hung up as i didnt want to risk not having outbound sales call me up with a better off than account managment team could offer
So, i dont have the address! Do you still have it? Terminations address that is

Sent them a letter 2 weeks ago. (Can get the address from their FAQ web page). All I got back was a letter saying ta ta.
