I'm currently using a HP 4150
but expecting my new HP 4700 in the next couple of weeks with a fantasic 4" screen and PPC 2003 second edition which finally supports landscape mode natively
I use things like worldmate and pocket streets and tube london and sydney etc etc

Looks good the new iPAQ.
Can you recommend me, what are essential apps for it as you currently use the same model?

The new HP4700 now supports VGA (640x480) instead of the 4150's 240x320
as mentioned I use Tube london and Sydney, worldmate, pocketmvp for videos rather than the built in media player, pocket sketch (comparable or better to P900 jotter), coversions in hand (CIH) picture perfect and of course avantgo!
btw, if you want a fantastic program to convert dvd directly to avi playable on pocketmvp then you can't go past
pocket DVD studio. I've tried them all and this is the best. I've done some great movies and music videos with this. I have a 1gb SD card for all this op course

but the new HP 4700 takes compact flash as well as SD so I'm busy looking for a 2gb compact flash to add more capacity

you're welcome. the 4150 is a great device for its size and you will be very happy with it. if you use avantgo I can recommend the premium service which gives you 8mb rather than the standard 2mb. I am into my second year and by filling in short questionaire they gave me an extra free 3 months.
while handango is ok I tend to get my stuff from
pocketpc gear
