> Flashing k700 yourself?
Bookmark topic
Hi, sorry to be a pain, im sure this has been coverd before but the search function throws up so much crap that i can find it :/
Is it possible to get a k700 flashed to the new software versions in highstreet stores? e.g. phone4u or would they have to send it off?
There is no SE within reasonable distance from me (edinburgh) so taking it in is not an option.
Alertnativly, is there a way to flash it yourself via the internet? (i have DSS-20) I saw mention of a sony ericsson server recently, but also that this is not live yet, is this accurate?

most high street stores would have to send it off. A few carphone warehouse have service facilities and can do an upgrade. it really depends where you are
here is the thread discussing the online update using DSS-20 or DSS-25 but the service has not been working for more than 2 weeks now
Online K700 Firmware update service available
