Just released: the first beta version of nhGPS, our GPS software for the SonyEricsson P800 and P900.
Features:
- navigate on your own maps (gif/jpeg)
- record tracks and edit & analyze them afterwards
- place waypoints
- connects to any bluetooth GPS receiver

this is a very nice app. I have been using it for a couple of days now and have found it really easy to use. the best part has to be having the ability to import your own maps and then overlay the gps onto it.

Nice application but a little useless. Bitmapped maps take too much storage space (a couple of detailed cities and your P900 with a 128Mb expansion will be short of space) and most of all navigator has no knowledge of their topography... it doesn't know when a street begins/ends nor its name... it simply overlays current GPS coordinates on the map. It can't guide you to destination.
Fine if you are walking on the street of a city you already know (and already have a map of it) and you want to find where you are but for the rest a real navigator is better (in my opinion).
