> T610 crashing problems - please help!

hi im new 2 this forum.
i know this question has probably been asked hundreds of times, but i cant find a decent answer anywhere, so here goes...
when i turn on my t610, everything loads ok and i am facing the 'desktop'. when i go into menus etc everything seems ok, but after a min or so it crashes! none of the buttons respond, the lights stay on and the only way to get it to do anything is to pull out the battery cover and put it on again. i havent changed anything on the fone recently and it just started happening all of a sudden. ive tried master reset via settings menu but the fone crashes halfway through the process. what is the problem?

Welcome here! After turning on the fone u have to wait 40 sec and let the fone upload the sw. Dont do anything so long. Is it happening in this time period or after?

I don't know if anyone will be able to pinpoint a specific cause of such a problem.
I would suggest you keep tryin to achieve a master reset or go to a SonyEricsson Service Centre to get it zapped with new firmware.
Have you recently downloaded anythin to the phone, try deletin it if so.
Also check to see if the memory is totally full & maybe delete some items.

U find adds of services on the se website or contact your operator. I dare suggest a member, ayush, hf is from india aswell and had experiences in t610 faulties. Pm him.

Hi rick. Which fw version you have? It might be a faulty fw. Is your ph under warranty? Then take it to accel for a free upgrade or reflash

1. yes i am waiting for the fone to load etc i have always done so. if i wait for too long the screensaver comes and it crashes.
2. where the hell is a sonyericsson service point in leicester, uk?
3. there is 655kb space left on fone.
4. ive tried master reset 3 times and every time it has crashed halfway.
5. my fone is version R1A081 and it has been since i got it

U have an old fw. Think u can get the fone nr on se web site, go to the uk section.
