i was wondering, seeing as i dont have a stand thingy (DSS-25 or sumthing), and i only have bluetooth, i cant upgrade my firmware for my k700 by the internet. does anybody know where there is a list of all the se service centres in the uk???

R's Electrics in Tottenham are good and should be able to flash or fix it while you wait if they have the parts - they are a couple of minutes walk from White Heart Lane station.
there are offical sony ericsson centers too but i dont know where they are. all the places above you can get your firmware updates for free within 12months of buying the phone.

o44wen, you wouldnt happen to know a way in finding out which CPW in the cities has the serivce centre? In edinburgh we have about 10 CPW!

i think its the one in the old city section. follow the bridge over the train station and straight up the hill road infront (i think)
their phone number is 08701 682 452
for everyone else if you just ring one of the CPW up and ask them they will be able to tell you the correct store for the repair centre. i cant be bothered writting out all the phone numbers!

Theres one authorised SE service centre in Forest Road (North London). I think its 855 forest Road.
Theres also one in 815 High Road, Tottenham (White Hart Lane) . Its called "R S Electronics"
