Which is better? Honest opinions please! Personally i don't like the ugly look of the X600. But what about the rest of the features? I have heard that the camera of the X600 is great.

To be very objective, it's definite that K500 is better than X600.
K500 has 11MB shared memory.
X600 has 9MB total memory.
the difference between those memory systems is the allocation. In Samsung X600, you have only 600kb for images, 600kb for tones, 500kb for Java application, the rest of the memory is for photos. It's not effective. In the other hand, you can divide freely the memory of K500. It really doesn't matter if you spend 95% of the memory for games or if you spend 100% of it for mp3.
K500 has VGA Camera with more effect.. it has interpolation to make a panorama photo. It can record video while X600 cannot. It's just comparison, one of the latest Samsung phone D410 doesn't produce better photos than K700. The analogy should be that X600 doesn't either, while K500 will be one of the next SE series after K700 release.
It must have a better camera than K700, at least the same quality.
K500 has a TFT color screen. X600 display is using UFB.. UFB is the same quality as STN. It's worse all the way compared to TFT.
K500 can play MP3 ringtone. X600 cannot.
K500 has infrared which is compatible to any devices, is not alike one in X600 which is only compatible to Samsung devices.
K500 can play 3D Java game.. it has 3D engine chip for that. X600 doesn't.
The lighting lamp in K500 is much brighter than one used in X600.
The one and only X600 advantage compared to K500 is the capability to store 1000 contacts in phone. K500 only can store 510 numbers.

Wow, you actually were speaking about F500. Damn, I've been mistaken. But, actually there's almost no difference between F500 and K500 so you can still use my review above to answer your question.

oh but there's one thing left out though. the x600 can take frame shots up to 15 i think. i dont think the f500 can do that. then again the f500 can take videos what the heck.....

f500 is a vodafone only release so software will be slightly crippled and vodafone is very persistant about removing support for mp3 ringtones. Don't expect the f500 and k500 to be the same.
at least
has acknowledged that vodafone phones aren't the same as their unbranded counterparts
