I have bought the LG8110 and I want you to share your experience about. One quetsion I have is if its possible to change themes? there are 3-4 themes (blue, green, dont remember the rest).

Something else that I notice is that there are no manufacture page about LG U8110, maybe im wrong. anyway is there any other page for LG U8110 fansite or so?

/thank u

On my LG 8110, on either the small screen or the main screen, next to the icon that tells me what sound profile is active, a little "R" in a box appears, then disappears, then re-appears! Anyone know what it is?

ok its just me in this thread then. i'll ask anyway.

When someone sends a text message, the phone CHANGES it. Instead of saying "hello how are you" it says something like "guidwo der sen oiu" i checked the language settings, is it maybe something to do with the data settings? Or maybe i've got one of these "sms viruses" someone was talking about in another thread? I can read any of my text messages and its damn frustrating.

I found out what the little "R" means...it means Roaming. I dont know why it tells you when your roaming or not, it seems a pointless thing to me.

I was playing around with my LG 8110's camera functions, then my p900's, and the difference is incredible! Everyone knows that the p900 camera isnt the best, but, considering the LG U8110 is just a basic phone, the camera is fabulous! Its a lot clearer, crisper, has a LOT more options and settings, and its a lot smoother too. I then compared the LG camera to my brothers k700i, and, lo and behold, its better than that too! In all, its just an average phone (the menu system and keypad are great, btw) but the camera really is something special, considering the phone is a fairly basic, cheap model. It's even more surprising considering its one of those rotating ones like samsungs have, and i've never trusted them to be any good. LG sure have done their research with regard to cameras, i'm willing to bet they will be up there with the best phones around in a year or two.

Actully, I beg to differ.
I bought this months issue of W@t Mob and they did a camera test on all of the phones and out of about 12 they cam 11th. Rubbish! Pixelated and scroggy. The winner for a MP phone was the 7610 and the winner or a non MP was the Sendo X
