I'm trying to set up irRemote (Psiloc) and have transferred a couple of files to my P900 - the Psiloc website says that it's programme will automatically pick up the file, but it doesnt, and the phone says there's no viewer for this kind of file (.ccf).
Is there any way to associate files with a particular programme? I suspect that if I can associate .ccf files with irRemote, then it will pick it up and import it's details. Anyone know how?

I do not think that symbian allows file association like windows - someone more knowledgable can correct me to your pleasure

What I presume Psiloc guys mean is, that if you place the files in the right place (they must recommend a right place somewhere - manual etc), iRemote will automatically pick them up.

Or is there an explicit import menu?

just a few guesses, as I dont have iRemote

Well, they say it will automatically pick up the files (which it doesn't) and there's no import item on the menu.
Sigh. It's a v good program (if you're stuff is in range from the sofa) - complete control via my phone - the family will hate it!!
Mwahahahaha. (now I just need to get the bloody thing going)
