Dear all

After a recent backup my P900 acted very strange with the display "fading" away and appearing to still be there for a while, even after I removed the battery.

When I switched it on, it refused to recognise the SIM (it asked for the code, then the phone unlock, and then it beeped and said "Wrong type of SIM").

The SIM is fine as I have since used it in 2 other phones.

I have tried the "piece of paper behind the battery trick" but overall I am at a loss to understand what has happened to an otherwise faultless phone.

Is this an error that anybody else has experienced?

Not sure about the SIM (even though that seems to be the problem at hand),
but I have seen the fading screen on my P900
Whenever I switch off, or pull out the battery... the screen doesnt go off instantly. It slowly dims and I can see the impression of display items at some places for a while.
I always assumed this to be the default normal behaviour... if not, guys please tell me.
