I had an idea last night, that maybe instead of using mp3 files on my K700i I would try and use WMA as they are smaller in size. I sent the WMA over to my phone and everything seemed to transfer fine. However, I cant find the file on my phone!!! The amount of memory has gone down, Ive looked in all the folders and I cant find the damn thing!! Does anyone have any ideas of where the WMA file could be?

Thanks
Rach

Actually, you are correct. But I do not see where these files are supported so why bother asking about it. How about .ogg files. Are they supported also? See my point?

It has nothing to do with diss'ing. It has to do with reading the manual or at least the technical specs. If it is not listed there, then why create a thread about it. It just doesn't make sense. How trying to play DIVX, or .avi's as well. These aren't mentioned either. Do you think that they will work?

@Red_Rach

Dude, (hope you are a dude), sorry if not. My thing was all about checking the product info. If you want to try to see if it will play .mov files then by all means go ahead, but do not be surprised nor complain that SE has let the world down because it will not play these files. There are MANY complainers in this forum that simply demand a phone(the K700i is only a phone with extra features) do much more than it was designed to do and then complain when it doesn't. There are probably licensing reason as to why the K700i will not play Windows Media. MS is not going to give away anything for free.
