I have a T630 on the Maxis network in Malaysia. I used to have a T68i where when I sent out text msg's, I used to have a little "tick" sign on the envelop icon on the Sent menu of the SMS Messages.
However, with the T630 I dont seem to have this. I am using a 32K sim card [as opposed to a 64K sim card previously with the T68i - could this be the issue?]
My firmware is R4C003 prgCXC12-5798.CHINA_1_N
Also, when I go into the SMS Sent menu in my T630, the View Status option is greyed out - so I cannot select this to see if the message has been sent [i assume this is what this option is for]
Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks - I'll try - but not hopeful of SE being able to revert with a coherent answer.

agn,
surely you have selected Status Request 'ON', no? in the event you may have accidently forgotten, goto Messaging->Text->Options->Status Request

Finally get to post here after that last question.. The solution for the problem is to get a new 64 k sim card. Apparently older simcards with 32k memory will make the status request functions invisible.
I upgraded my simcard from 32 k to 64 k and now the status requests works for me.
