I've had my p900 for about a week now, and found on a couple of occasions that it manages to unlock in my pocket and redial my previously called number. I assume that it's the jog dial that's causing the problem - is there any way I can prevent this? I've looked through the forum and I'm surprised that it's not a common issue... Thanks for any advice you can offer.

use the full screensaver lock that requires your phone lock code to be entered before the phone can be used
or do as I do and buy a case for your belt which is a much better solution anyway since it vastly reduces the chance of phone damage or theft from your pocket etc etc

How the hell does your pocket manage to press the jogdial towards or away AND then click it inwards WITHOUT pressing any other direction first!?!?!
I can't see how this can possibly occur and THAT is why it's not a common problem.
Perhaps you have some sort of gremlin in your pants!

Coming to the serious part, one strange thing that happens when my phone hits a redial is, even if the other side hangs up after shouting "hello" desperately quite a few times, the call continues! It only gets disconnected when i manually end the call.

Well, if it's the same as a landline, then usually only the caller can terminate the call??
