> K700 - firmware upgrade fixes battery?
Bookmark topic
I have heard some people who said that the firmware upgrade fixed the battery problem and some other who said that it DIDNT!
What is the right answer here...?
Someone even said that the phone showed the batterylife more correct after the upgrade but the acctually batterylife was not imporved...? sounds strange...
How long does your phone lasts after the upgrade compared to before?
Mine starts to complain about low battery already after one day so i have to upgrade it really soon...

I don't think there is any right answere here. Most people seem to get an improvement and some few don't.

As my experience, the new firmware(R2L) have an improvement in extending the battery life.
Before update the firmware,it need to charge the phone everyday.
Now it can use more than one day and half .

Is this Firmware upgrade obtained from any Carphone Warehouse?
How long does it take and do they charge for it?

Now that a new firmware has been released - how did that happen, I didnt notice it and thought it would be all over the web when it did happen - has anyone in the UK been into a carphone warehouse to get theirs done?
In addition to asking how much it costs, has anyone who has the K700 on Orange (customised and locked) tried doing it at the Carphone Warehouse? I am interested to know if there is anything preventing you from removing all traces or Orange.

The battery life of the SE K700/i's one of it's major 'faults'

Did it have a software upgrade

, I guess the problem will still remain, and I guess only a 'hardware' upgrade can solve it's perennial trouble
