Here in Esato quite a lot of people have complained that the reception of T68i, T610 (and other models) is bad, especially in GSM 1900.
Has anyone any good or bad comments about reception of K700i?

My K700i has the best reception of any phone i've ever used. Normally where i live, on my T610 i get 2 yellow bars reception on T-mobile.
On my K700i, i get the full reception bar, sound quality is dramatically improved and theres very little background noise or crackling you'd normally hear on mobile phones. Its just like using a land line.

During 2 month time I have only found 1 guy at Howards forum complaining about K700 RF while for T610/T68i during same time of period there were alot of RF complains.
K700 has alot improved RF over T68i/T610.

A mate of mine has just got a K700 - we're on the same network, and whereas I was getting 1-2 signal bars on a T610, he was getting 4-5!

I am so happy with my k700 just for the fact that for once i do have reception at home. It is really amazing compared to my other phones. It is even better than my samsung.

Is it confirmed by someone somewhere that each individual signal strength indicator bar is indicating the very same signal strength? I seriously doubt that they are. The indication is certainly not that accurate, not at all.
Thus, comparing the number of signal strength indicator bars displayed on two or more phones at any given time means close to nothing really.
However, I agree that if you get a decent reception in problematic environments and/or experience improved sound quality, that's very good indeed.

But I quess also, that Bico is right: the strength indicator bars are not very accurate.
Once I used my T68i in old castle. I looked at display - the reception signal strength showed 0 bar (no bar at all). But then I was called. The speech was fragmentary, I heard the calling person very badly, but she heard me quite well. So, despite signal strength of 0 bar, we were able to talk.
Recently I had a chance to test the K700i. I also took K700i and T68i in my hand and walked arround. The reception bars were very moveable on my T68i, while on K700i they were more stable.
So, looks like K700i has indeed better reception. But maybe also the reception bars of K700i don't react so quickly. Maybe the reception bars of T68i are very sensitive?

I live in a very low reception area and i was lucky (in certain parts of the house) get 1 bar reception on a T68i and T610. On my k700i im getting three bars in the same areas (no sh*t). I find the reception much much better on a k700

I still have my old T68i. I also have a T610 and my wife has the T630.
Putting them side by side with my new K700i, I can see that the T series almost have the same reception, fluctuating wildly from zero to four bars. While the K7 holds the signal at four bars constantly, sometimes even displaying a full meter.
definitely has improved on this. Motorola doesn't even come close.

I've got to say that my K700 has a pretty good reception - the place i work is in a bit of a signal black spot which is dominated by Vodafone - however, my K700 manages to pick up O2 here fine whereas my girfriend's T610 doesn't.
