Hi
i have recently purchased the ma 600, but it never came with xp drivers, so i decided to check the website, and i have failed to downlaod them as there is something up with the site. i have a ericsson t68. i decided to try and install the ma 600 direct from windows usin the add new hardware and the irda drivers in xp. when trying to communicate with the t68 the red light flashes for a second then it goes off. i lowered the communication rate and it worked for about ten seconds and then off again! when opening t68 handset manager it says ma 600 not found.
can sumone send me the official xp ma 600 drivers and xp installation guide?
or can sumone just help me in where i am going wrong.

HI
I found out that the win2000 drivers are the same as the XP drivers so i used them, now the ma 600 is installed corrrectly as the handset manager now finds it. BUT the problem with the communication between the phone and the ma 600 is still not there. it occasionally blinks on whatever bit speed i set it at.
is there a patch out there that i need??
please help!
thanks

thats because you have installed the wrong comport ...you need to uninstall everything to do with the ma600 and then reinstall and use the other com port

hi
the laptop has only one com port, originall i installed it with the com1 port and the green light shows, but when i install it in com 3 port the green light doesn't even turn on. so i think i have installed in into the right com port (com 1)
the only problem is that the ma 600 wont communicate with the phone. occasionall the red light blinks and in handset manager i still get the message open COM port failed.
thanks anyway
