Hi,
I just bought a k700i today. When charging it, the screen light and the button lights are on, even when the phone is switched off. Is this normal or is this some kind of bug ?

if u have the phone in power save mode when you charge even if the phone is turned off it will stay on , i have found that you have to switch your phone to automatic light then when u charge the screen will turn off after a while hope this helps

Yes that is the solution. The lights will go off if the phone is set to automatic.
I think automatic is better than powersave anyway as the standby screen then displays the clock & also message & missed call indicators.

I just tried it and set my k700i to 'Automatic', and the problem is really solved.

Just what's the 'BIG' difference if you have your settings in the 'Power Save' and in the 'Automatic' modes (lighting)
I do have my settings now in the Power Save mode
Ideally, which is better mates

i found a nice trick for this problem with my t610 ,just key lock your mobile and the light will go off
