I have just bought a bulk packed DSS-25 without drivers or instructions. I have downloaded the drivers from SE and have uploaded the CD that came with the phone onto my PC. Only the phone does not automatically select the syncstand when placed in it. The imagaing software does not detect the phone. When selecting accessories in connectivity the phone says no accessories are attached when the phone is actually in the station???? However the phone will charge and the green led is illuminated.
Any help would be appreciated, anyone with a PDF or scanned manual would be fantastic and very much appreciated.

where did you download the drivers for the dss-25 from? I've looked at the SE site but couldn't see anything.

they are the only ones available online for both DSS models so the problem must be your pc or a faults DSS.
in what way did it not work? error messages? more description about the failure etc etc?

Well, XP detects it as a DSS-20 and tries to install drivers for this new hardware, i point it at *any* of the drivers, from the website, from the k700 cd, etc etc and it says that those are not the drivers for this device!
I also tried the DCU-11 drivers thinking it may have been a really old desk stand, but they dont work either.
The phone does not see the DSS when its connected, the PC does not see the phone...
Very frustrating.

At present I have:
DSS-25 USB Connected/Power Connected
DSS-25 Drivers
K700i CD Software
Anything Else? Does the K700i automatically detect the DSS-25, I can't find anything in the settings that selects it. Any step by step load up and set up information would bve fantastic.
If you see a silver disc in the sky fear not it's not a UFO rather my DSS-25 being launched.

On my work PC (2000) I got all software to download, but the phone does not detect the stand and the software when running (Launch and synchronise) does not detect the phone.
On my home PC I can charge the phone through the stand but cannot get the software to detect the phone. My wifes phone and my phone do not detect the stand.
