> Time display on K700i?
Bookmark topic
On my T68i, I could just take a peek at the display when I wanted to know the time, but on my new K700i the display is just almost black. Is there any way to show the time on this phone while in "energy saving mode" (I don't know the correct english term)?

Q. On the K700, how do I turn the screensaver clock on?
A. Settings, display, light, automatic

The correct term is Power Saving Mode. And no, in power saving mode the screen becomes absolutely black, you cannot see the time. If you do need to see the time, then switch back to automatic mode.

Welcome to esato mate

Yup! @masseur is very much right back there, in order to see the digital time you have to set your 'light' settings to 'automatic' and not 'power save' . . .

I have mine set on Automatic. So that when I press the volume button, I can see the time. But under sunlight or bright lights, I don't even have to turn on the backlight. I can see the time, just like on the T630.

Thanks for the responses, you people are quick! And sorry for not checking the F.A.Q. That little faded clock shouldn't drain the battery much more than in "power saving mode" I hope.
