> Can we set Cell Info Display on 700i

Does anyone know if we are able to set Cell Info Display for our 700i?
For the old Nokia 8250, we can set Cell Info Display by going to Phone setting and switching Cell Info to On so that we can see the Cell Zone that we are entering into. This is a great service when visiting a foreign city.

Thank you for responding. I went to messages setting as suggested to take a look. Yes you are right, there is a cell info option there but I am not sure if it is the same option as the one in Nokia's Phone setting.
The Nokia's Cell Info Setting (under Phone Setting) that I am seeking displays cell locations as we move from cell base to cell base. This permits me to know where I am (when I am travelling in a foreign country) which is really a very useful feature. Unfortunately, I cannot test it in my home country which does not support this option. It was very helpful having this option in Bangkok, Thailand where it showed me the locations ie. Erawan, Siam etc...
I will only be able to test it out when I next visit. Thanks again.

yes, its the same thing. In uk and germany on vodafone for example I see the telephone area code you are passing through while in Sydney on Telstra I see the suburb name. So it depends where you go and which carier you roam with as to what information you will see, if any

Here in CZ you can see with Eurotel-CZ operator Cell info exactly the name of the area you are in - acccording each BTS. But in some stores you can see annoying adds istead of it ........ufff

I'm on O2 in the UK and it doesn't work for me. Always used to work on my old nokias.

No idea what you mean I'm afraid. On my old Nokia the area code just appeared on the screen at all times if selected.
