mpegable x4 is CRAP. You can't change the resolution
you have very few options in conversion. Try Canopus Procoder 2. It converts from ALL formats ( except real media) to ALL formats (including real media) and you can change everything. And when i say everything, i mean EVERYTHING!!!

mpegable is exellent! I converted lord of the rings passages(gollum) from the dvd,the result on the k700 is awesom it's like a mini dvd reader

!!!!
now from wmv to mpeg4 I think you will need to use tmpgenc to convert from wmv to mpeg2 then mpegable from mpeg2 to mpeg4
