Does SE know about this site? There are a lot of posts that can be taken as suggestions. Also many users have noticed bugs and all kinds trouble. I just saw a post with the role of a petition for se to put customizable sms alert tones in their phones. A really doubt someone would listen. I feel like we are talking with the walls

I think it would be wise & easy market research for them to look here and I think they probably do.
Some things asked for all the time on here come true for example MemoryStick DuoPro compatability for the P-Series, this is now in the P910

Where I work all the reps seem to browse Esato for underground information about what people really think about phones

I give you one example....not saying that this was OUR doing but some staff members suggested that include RIm software in their phones to conquer the ever spreading Blackberry army...low and behold they have included this in the P910.

Your suggestions?

This has been discussed a lot in the past years here and i am sure they read the forums. If they implemment what they read? The professional chain is soooo long
@Ayush: not again with the damn sms ringtone. It's good they don't allow u to choose whatever u want, this way we have the forums active!
PS: The title should say "... STAFF", not "stuff".

although it may seem daft... when i heard this it made sence. It may be thought that the reason SE dont allow personalised sms tones is for market advertising... If you hear the Ring Ring of the Sony ericsson, people in the know will recognise this tone and maybe look around for the phone it has come from. this could attract further attension etc etc.

just a suggestion

@tommac

I sorta agree with you. I kinda find myself looking around for the source of the sms tone whenever I hear it. They're sorta distinctively SE.

Crap, my sms tone says "I got me a live one, squeal piggy!" redneck stylee and its much better than the boring se ones! I take it u cant change it on most se models, cos u can on the p900. Right enough, couldnt change it on my p800
