i dont think you can access your MSN Hotmail unless you pay them an annual fee! pain in da arse, but...

but i use my O2 POP3 email on my P900 no probs! and also ive setup my hotmail so that each new email i recieve in my hotmail inbox , it sends me a notification to my O2 mail with the email's subject line! thats how i find out ive a new email waiting for me in my hotmail account!

apart from this, there is also a WAPsite which supports hotmail! what happens is, you have to register free on their website and they give you a PIN and a URL! then once you bookmark it, when ever you go on it, it asks for that PIN and logs you on your Hotmail! (it also is a secure connection, which is good)

i cant remeber that site right now, but will try to post it if i get a chance!

hope this helps abit!

Regards
Yav.

Are you an O2 contract or PAYG user?

rightio thanx so far.

I'm an o2 contract holder ... BUT...

I bought the phone sim free, and put the old sim into it obviously

Old phone was a nokia 6100.

So i'm guessing a phone call to o2 is required... but will they ask for more money? the phone back? say no we can't do it? so something is void...

Thanx again

Have you got the o2web GPRS settings? Using the mobile.o2.co.uk APN, and the username 02web?

nope :S
and i'm bit slow with all this so if you feel up for telling me the details, perhaps you could be so kind to tell me where and what it is also?

Much appreciated!

Thank you,

OK so the current Internet Connections you currently have (Control Panel - Internet Connections) are probably O2 WAP GPRS and O2 WAP GSM.

Make a new GPRS connection called O2 Mobileweb. In the advanced settings, username is O2web, password is O2web, and the address is mobile.o2.co.uk

Make that the default connection, and Opera, AgileMessenger etc should work without a problem.

Remote sync to a PC isn't directly supported - the Px00 supports SyncML, but you're looking at SyncML servers which are corporate targetted...

The other connections don't matter if you don't use them - if you're not interested in O2's wap service you're sorted.
