Right, I have a P800 and am eligible for an upgrade, but the P900/P910 doesn't really appeal as it can't do anything my P800 can't do really. A friend has a K700i and it seems pretty nifty, the camera quality looks better than my P800 (is it a higher pixel rate?) and overall it looks to have most of the things I use regularly on my P800.
But I'm worried I'll miss certain P800 features if I switch from a PDA style phone, to something less PDA-like. The good thing is I can get a K700i on upgrade really cheap, so if I hate it, I can always go back to my P800.
I noticed the K700 video length is limited to 10 secs - is the correct? This seems strange when the phone has so much memory - is there any way of over-riding this limit? This would be a major downside to the phone for me, if you cannot record more than 10 secs of video.
I'm basically wondering whether it's worth 'upgrading' to K700i and then if I don't like it, just going back to my P800 until something better comes along in another year or so.

Sounds like you'd probably enjoy the phone, it is definately worth trying. The video recording can be set to unlimited, so that it can use all the free memory up if you wish.

Dont get a k700...i meant it! It's a downgrade! U'll feel free with ur p800 (and other p*** series) but with non pda phone...surely u must change ur habit when using k700 instead of p800. K700 is a great phone. Once i own p800, then i used T610, z600, now im using k700...but still...i miss my p800. If u want an upgrade, go for p910.

Go for it. I have both a k700i and a p900. I prefer to use my k700i the most as its smaller and also has most of the options in a p900. Also the k7 hasnt as many faults as i've found in the p9 so to me the k7 is more reliable.

I think the video player in the SE K700/i fone model can 'run' for 45 minutes continuously mate

Don't get the SE K700, if you don't want to get disappointed, better wait for the SE P910 or better yet the SE S700 pal

Yeah the K700/i phones look like big trouble. Definately worth staying with a PDA style phone

@robot boy - It was just so unfortunate that I guess more than 'half' of the members here who bought ther SE K700/i fones experienced some 'problemos' with it

And a whole 100% of the owners are disappointed with it's battery life

. . . They say that a software upgrade will solve the problem - but I just doubt it pal

On my part, I feel so disgusted having replaced my Nokia 7610 with this piece of sh*t
