I live in Thailand.
Before upgrade ... everything fine except voice dialing is not work well, hang sometimes but i don't care. One day after i disconnect BT (internet) from my pocket pc, it restart and turn off BT automatically.
I read some thread here and decide to upgrade...
Ouch! after upgradeto R2L2001 I can do anything with my pocket pc, send file, etc. BUT CAN NOT CONNECT TO INTERNET! it said I'm out of range, sometimes it said unknown reason.
I borrow others K700i (upgraded) from the service center to test, NOT WORK ALL, but non-upgrade version could! Then i go to PPC shop, ask them to test with other PPCs. Every devices see my K700i, can send file via BT but when connect....SAME problem, CANNOT!
I call the service center immediaetly but they said NO IDEA. "we don't know about ppc, sorry, we don't know what to fix because everything is fine (except to connect BT internet via ppc)"
I told them to uninstall new update for me, make it back to old version.
AND THEY SAID THEY CAN'T DOWNGRADE FIRMWARE. Is it true?
anyone can help me? I would appreciate it. PLS.

yes it is true. you will get an error that a newer virsion has been installed. i think you need to reflash the rom with the original rom version.
