J'm not so shure about that..
P900 have more resolution but i think that the differenses are very small when your wieving the pictures in the phone.
I'm gonna do some tests with my wifes T610 and mine P900 and se.
My wife was sending me a MMS this evening and i think that it looked better on my P900 than the pictures i take, on a computer screen P900 win because it's higher resolution.

There was another thread where someone showed how taking pictures while exploiting the ambient condition (correct angle for light etc) takes far better pics. Hence one should be careful when comparing.
However, in my own exp... P900 takes better pics than T series phones

Thats right, i'm a amateur photografer and uses Hasselblad and are very familiar of how i'm getting the most of a camera. I only look at my P900 pictures on the phone, on the computer screen it in my opinion looks awful.
Resulotion isn't everything, mobile cameras often have very bad optics etc. I've seen 1,3Mp pictures taken with older proffessional cameras that blows away those taken with cheaper 4Mp cameras.

Vga takes pics greater than 640*480 . While cif takes upto 352*258 size.

VGA is the name of a resolution i.e. 640 x 480
The T630 takes CIF psize pictures which is 288 x 352 but it can interpolate (which means to use software in the phone to make up extra pixels) to VGA size
take a look at my
T630 review to an example of the T630 CIF picture and the same one taken in extended (VGA) mode
edit: @ayush, no, VGA is exactly 640 x 480, larger sizes have different names
