Hi. I've recently got a P900 & so far it's the best gadget I've ever had
I'm busy customising it & have managed to install mp3s & get them to work as ringtones. However, one thing I can't seem to change is the melody that plays when I switch it on. I've worked my way through the various sounds & alerts, but the same sound isn't there, so I don't know where it's stored. Maybe it's something Sony Ericsson put on the phone that can't be changed or even silenced, but if there's a way of changing it I'd be very grateful for instructions. Thanks.

Unfortunately this sound can't be changed as it is stored in one of the protected ROM drives.
On the P800 it was possible to set different startup & shutdown videos by a trick someone found but it doesn't work on the P9 and as far as I know there is no other way
