I simply dont understand why is there a limitation on the number of alarms I can set. Its restricted to three!!!. Any damn phone has more than that!

you can have alarms for anything in the calendar too, plus tasks as mentioned. the three you can set from the clock screen are just the icing on the cake, really. how many do you need, exactly?

Well, I find the shortcut to those three very easy to go to. Why should I go all the way to the tasks menu to set a simple alarm? . This is really irritating knowing that other phones dont have such a limitation. Why three? Whats the big idea?

Who needs more than 3 fer gossake? Imho its plenty, one for work, one set later for weekends, and one for when the chickens cooked!

Picture this, I want 5 alarms to wake up, one at 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, 7:45, 8:15. I will want to wake up on the last alarm, the previous ones are just to 'prepare' me to wake up. That way, I get a feeling that I have slept to my hearts content 4 times . ..Doesn't this happen to you?

Why?

The phone has a snooze function?!

For a more satisfying feeling... keep snoozing the alarm. It will give you a feeling that you have slept over and over again in that period

At first I read the first post and thought "How silly can you get. How many alarms does one need?"

Then I read sbjg's eloquent argument 'bout the alarms "needed" so as to 'prepare' one to wake up. Very convincing, indeed

As to the snooze function, it's not quite adequate at 5 minute intervals. Not enough to "get a feeling that I have slept to my hearts content."

Yes, we do need at least 5 alarms. Anyway, I'll try to figure out how to do this with Tasks or Calendar.
