Hi, at some point (before iSync 1.5) the changes I made in the OSX Address Book (10.3.4) were sent to my K700 when syncing, but not anymore. If I add a contact in the phone, it will be sent to the Mac, but if I add a contact in the Mac, it won't be sent to the K700. Actually I think this has nothing to do with updating to iSync 1.5, because the function disappeared before I did the update (at least I think it did...).
Does it work in both directions for you? What's the secret trick to make it work?

There's a thread all about using the K700 on Mac OS X here:
Using the Sony Ericsson K700 with an Apple Mac
The pairing info at the start of that thread is now out-of-date since Mac OS X 10.3.5 and iSync 1.5 were released, but the rest of the thread is worth a read.
There's also a sticky thread worth reading:
Apple Macintosh and Sony Ericsson issues
But briefly, syncing does and definately should work in both directions. I'd try completely deleting all pairing info from the phone and Mac and re-pair. That tends to sort out most problems.

Thanks Jools! I saw these threads, but since there a re many SE phones and many different/possible problems with Mac and SE, I thought it would be a good idea with separate threads...
I tried your suggestions, but things still doesn't work the way it should. There's also instability involved when sending vCards (vCards being the only possible workaround that I'm aware of right now): sometimes, it sends all the numbers involved in a card (mobile, home....), other times, it sends only one of the numbers (Mac -> K700).

Am I the only one who has these problems with K700 and the OSX Address book?

Can you send SMSs from Address book ?
It worked fine with T610 and iSync 1.4 but not anymore for me...
cheers

In the iSync panel for your k700, have you chosen the option to sync only a selected Address Book group? Perhaps you're adding contacts to a group which is not being synced.
Also, what happens if you make changes on the Mac, are those changes synced to the phone?
@gobang
I'm having no problem SMSing from Address Book -> iSync 1.5 -> k700

Hi,
no, changes on the Mac are not sent to the K700.
I sync 'All', not a limited category...
Thanks,
TM

Have you tried repairing permissions on your boot drive with Apple Disk Utility?
As a last resort, try the following:
- Export all your Address Book as vCards
- Also do a File > Backup Database
- Delete all information from Address Book and quit it.
- Backup then delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook
- Backup then delete the folder ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.AddressBook
- Backup then delete the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist
- Backup then delete the file ~/Library/Preferences/AddressBookMe.plist
- Backup then delete the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.isync.plist
- Backup then delete the file ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
- Re-pair your phone and set-up the iSync-ing
- Open AddressBook and re-import all your data from the vCards or Backup Database
- Try iSync-ing again
- If that doesn't work both ways, I'm stuck for ideas... unless you download the
Mac OS X 10.3.5 Combo updater and re-apply that...
