Dear all,

I am new to here. I come from Hong Kong. Nice to meet you all.

Currently I've bought a K700i and a bluetooth headset (BT-638z) from iTouch (or iTech).

I found that my headset would occasionally be unable to connect to my phone. But after I've charged my headset for 1-2 minutes, connection could be done again (may not be power problem 'cos I recharge my headset every 2-3 days and I used only use it when I drive my car).

I've upgraded my phone to R2J though I think that will be more likely the problem of the headset than my K700i.

As the problem persists, I would like to replace my headset with another one. Could anyone of you pls recommend some good bluetooth headset for me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I've a BT250 from Jabra (upto 240 hours of autonomy & 8 H speaking !), I had before a SE HBH-65 with my T68i. Used the BT250 one month with T68i(R8A) ==> no problem.
Since my K700i... a few connection losing, coz of the firmware I think (R2A). - read other posts.

In any way, the BT250 is much better (sound, autonomy, noise reduction)

Waiting for the SE K700 online update...

Hi Bobafett,

Thanks for your instant reply.

Sorry that I have forgotten to mention that I need to wear glasses. HBH-65 should be a good choice but I just worry if I can wear it together with my glasses.

Do you mean you cannot hear the ringtone?

Maybe you can update your software to R2L first.
The new software improve the bluetooth connection.
If it still does't work then change you headset.
I use HS810 and it is good for me.
The only weak point is that the sound is not lounder enough.

Hi rexren,

I have my K700i upgraded to R2J last Wed and the R2L001 was available 2 days after the upgrade.

Since it took me a whole day to wait for the firmware upgrade in HK, I try to avoid going to the SE service center too often (The service level of the HK SE service centere is !@#$$@#!#$.

Anyway, do you know what improvements were made for Bluetooth after the R2L upgrade? Thanks.

Thx...

Yes, it does work ! only a FEW connection problems. I DO hear the ringtone, but sometimes I've to turn off and on the headset to reset the headset.

My post was only to give my new K700/BT250 experience to Sebu_Sebu.

I'm very OK with the BT250, just waiting for the SE online update.

Thx to you guys.

Hi Sebu_Sebu,

Before R2L,my phone's software is R2E.
R2E software will auto power off and on my k700i when I use bluetooth headset.
After update to R2L,it never happen again.

Hi rexren,

Thanks for your reply.

Looks like I have to spend another day in the SE service center again.
