> Z600, TFT screen or not ?

Hi guys.. Just out of curiosity, I read an old Z600 review on a norwegian site, and they clamed that "although the Z600 is better and can take more sunlight then the T610 screen, it's not TFT"...
WTF?
always thought that Z600 had an TFT or TFD screen..

The Z600 does not have a TFT screen. Its better than the T610's basic LCD, but its something called TSD or something. I have no idea what it means, but the Z600's screen is better, brighter and has better colours. Its still not as good as the T630's however.
And noway near as good as the K700i's.

Z600 has TFD which is very similar to TFT but IMHO the Z600 TFD screen is much better than the T630 TFT screen
TFD = Thin Film Diode whereas TFT = Thin Film Transistor

I completely aggree with
masseur.
It's not an oppinion, it's a fact.
TFD screen produces better colors.. the red looks more red than TFT screen. It's also brighter than TFT anyway. The colors are more popped-up in Z600.
But, T630 has a bit better pixel drawing. The colors blending is shown better in T630. But the colors in T630 is pale if you compare it side by side with Z600. As example, purple in PC monitor still becomes purple in Z600, but it becomes blueish in T630. Red color looks more reddish in Z600 than in T630 which shows more orangeish color.

In fact, Z600 produces better colors than K700 does. The colors in Z600 are more popped-up than the ones showed in K700... however, in this matter, K700 has much much better resolution so overall, it's still that K700 is the winner.
Note: I own these three phones and I compare their screens everyday. I've already compared hundreds or maybe thousands of images in T630, Z600, and K700.. so I know exactly which one is better, which one is worse. ;D for brightness, Z600 is still the best among them. but overall, i say again, K700 is the winner.
