> K700i question (brandings)

I'm from Romania and here the K700 isn't to be found at the cell phone shops... So I'm gonna buy it from the grey market...
The phone will be branded so what I need to know is what do the operators (Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile) do to their K700!!
From what I read here, Vodafone doesn't let you use MP3 Ringtones so I'm surely not buying the Vodafone K700.
What about the other ops? What did they modify???
-- And another question - Do the Java games and the themes still take half an hour to load??? (like in T610)

From what I gather O2 are the best for not branding their phones. I've got an Orange branded one and they've disabled the joystick shortcuts and the 'more' button but otherwise it's not too bad. Don't know about T-Mobile.
Java games and themes load very quickly.

yeh i have a t-mobile one, they put in start/shut down screens, ringtones and wallpapers that you cannot remove, also they changed the more butten to t-mobile wap, thats about it i cant find the my friends option so i guess they got rid of that also

melk..I would suggest you search little more and buy an K700i legally, it will save you all the money you might have to spend incase the phone goes "Kaput" + Free SW upgrades for a year..!
You can even buy an unlocked phone online..!
There are many users here from Romania using the k700i , I suggest contact them and ask where did they buy there's...

IŽll definately get my K700i *unbranded* due to those shitty operators... I was in Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Germany just 3 weeks ago and in each country I looked for K700i. Finally I am convinced to get an unbranded one.
But K700i is still not being sold in Turkey!! Damn!!
I hope IŽll find an unbranded one (go away Turkcell!) and I think K700i deserves that cost.... Pff...
I hope it will be out in a couple of dayss....

I'm getting really annoyed with my t-mobile branded one, because i played around with an unbranded one, and although its not that much of a difference, all the pink colour and buttens are annoying, like the quickshare sticker has been removed for a T-mobile sticker instead, but the fact that you cannot remove any of the preset things is the worse. other then that i totally love the phone it has everything, and my nk6230 screen just looks really crap compared to the K700i's one, also people complainin about short battery time is just rubbish, the K700i just has the same problem as the most of sony products, which is the battery bar is never up to date, like my MD player, it gets to one bar but lasts 3days with atleast 6hours each day, anyway getting off topic but brilliant phone shame about the branding, just waiting for a firmware upgrade in england thats all peace out
