When i surf wap and then close it, it asks if i want to disconnect, is there any point as i can still stay connected and use the phone as normal unlike GSM wap?

I dont see a point in staying connected 24/7. It drains too much battery. There may be one point in staying connected and that is that if the net gets crowded you still have a connection. This post was posted from a T39

i have mine connected an average of 5 hours a day. although the phone sometimes auto-disconnects itself (wherein it shouldnt). i use my t68 as a gprs modem.

if my service provider (Globe Telecom Philippines) is stable, then i think i would have myself connected 24/7 since gprs here is still free.
