I'm not sure what you mean mate.

>InfraRed (IR) is an invisible frequency of light & it is used by phones to transfer data by digital signal.

>The IR port on a T610 is on the top of the phone & u need to line this up with another IR port e.g. on another phone to transfer data. (You also must activate it in the phones menu)

>To get IR on your PC you must buy an IR adapter. These attach to a USB port & come with the necessary software so you don't need to download anything.

>Once installed on the PC you can use the IR port to send & receive data (contacts, pics, ringtones etc.) to & from the phone.

However you might as well get Bluetooth which is pretty much the same process but no need to allign the two devices and it is much faster

Oh great, now they're "IF" adaptors, not "IR" adaptors. Well, the IR adaptors are about $30 USD. You convert that into pounds if you need (if you can).

That's about £16-17.
But Bluetooth adapters are only about £19 and they a re much more convenient & faster transfer.

If u want my advice ignore IR & go for Bluetooth mate
