hello my name is arek and i am from poland, i am p800 user and i have got unlimitet wap over gprs wap acces
i read scooterman post in which he wrote that he mannaged to connect VNC using wap.
here is exacly what he wrote:
you need the VNC viewer you can getthat at my-symbian
you need Tight VNC on your computer, ihad to set it up to port 80 for the clientand some other random port for httpbecuase you wont be using that. Makesure you set it up to allow incomingconnection and to auto accept.
Put your IP address:Display port andpassword in the vnc viewer on yourphone. If you use the default port of5900 your display port is 0. if you use 80like me your display port is -5820.
i want to know why ypu are using port 80/5820??should i do the same in my country??
"you need Tight VNC on your computer, ihad to set it up to port 80 for the clientand some other random port for httpbecuase you wont be using that. Makesure you set it up to allow incomingconnection and to auto accept"-what does it mean?just to install and run?
