It has an attachment that calips on which allows the base to be swiveled and angled far enough for any normal application its sturdy well made there is rrom for the antenna cable and a car cable to fit the car kit slots into the bottom, if you want to mount your phon securely this is absolutly perfect it even has a hole to put your stylus in. to make a mint job of car mounting see
www.dashmount.co.uk for the perfect bracket (not cheap but more than worth it.)

Just bought it and was very simple to install. In-car charger from cigarette lighter provides the power - total cost £25 vs. £200 for a professional install on a car that I will not keep for ever. And there is no damage to the dash either. Add a bluetooth headset and job done!

Thanks for the feedback. How is it mounted on the dash ?

fortunately Volkswagen Golf MK IV has 2 'spare' dash switches that are exactly the right size to screw the small mounting square onto - meaning you effectively have a non-damage bracket installation that can adjust all ways. All I have to do when I change car is get VW to give me a replacement switch cover .. which I already have FREE!
Perfect height for viewing movies too when your stuck in the usual motorway jam!

Well i was wondering what to use for a car holder.. the hch-37 seemed the right one but had no where to put it and did'nt want to drill the dash board... the dashmount type bracket seemed ok but it often lands up next to your passengers knees and at arms length to actualy reach it..
I found this cheap plastic holder on a market stall for £5 and it works a treat.. i was pleasantly surprised how firm and ridged it is and fits to the air vent... it fits perfect for the P900 and holds it firm with no movement.. so got where i want it and so easy to handle... sure there are plenty universal fittings about like this that fit most phones, as the P900 is a wider phone than most it fits good and firm.. I did not want anything bulky..
