I was checking if I had any mail from my AOL account (using IMAP settings) and I got a dialog box saying (in flip open mode) you have new email and in brackets was a 4 suggesting I have 4 new emails but when I went to the inbox of the AOL account from the messages menu there was no email there. I then checked my email from the internet and found there was no mail there. I still have the icon on the bar at the top showing new email but when I go to it its empty.
anybody else had this problem and how can it be resolved?and why does this happen. is it a known bug or something.please help.thanks
