> Service Centre won't update my Vodafone K700i

My local Service Centre has the latest firmware R2L001 but they are telling me they can't update my K700i because it has Vodafone firmware on it. They require authorization from SE? Is this true?
Have any other Vodafone users successfully updated their software?
I am still running R2A041!

It is true & always has been with branded f/w for previous handsets.
They're only allowed to give u updated Vodafone f/w, that is IF they bring one out.
So far I've not heard of anyone who can reflash the K700 yet but in time, as when this was the problem with the T610, it will be done
