i havea phone on t mobile and ive had it for about two months. i am intrested in buying a better phone, which is unlicked and says i can use it with any service provider. so i want to confirm that all i have to do is put my sim card into the unlocked phone ?

I guess any sim card (with good credit standing), will do as long as the fone itself is unlocked/open-line

Yeh make sure it's a SIM free or O2 phone (O2 phones are already unlocked).

It must be unlocked, some vodafones come unlocked but you got to be wary of their branding (AVOID the vodafone k700i)
