> What? I cant see the name in messages?
Bookmark topic
In my t610 when someone send me a phone number is a sms I could select it and press the option button and 1 of the options would say something like "Call Mike" if the number wrote belongs to "Mike" in the Phone Book. Now in my P900 i have to select the number and dial it to see if i have it in my phone book.
Also when someone send me a mms and i want to check who else recived the MMS the thing only shows the numbers without the name and this time i cant even select the number to dial it! My T610 showed all the names and numbers (ex. +58412xxxxxxx ), is there any way to activate this feature or software who can do the job?
PD: Why is this important to me? If i miss a call because my phone is off or doesnt have signal and the caller dont leave a message in the voice mail my provider (Digitel TIM) send me a SMS with the number and time from the call. I have more than 300 Nums in my phone book and i cant learn all those ( i also have a pretty bad memory

) so this is a problem to me.

Even me noticed the same issue, but in another form. For example in my old moto c350, suppose i got called by a new number, and I save i with a name, the whole of my "recent calls" list would get automatically updated with the new name instead of the ugly number. But in P900, nothing of that happens. It still remains as a number in the recent calls list, even though I have saved the number in the contacts.
I get this feeling that in the P900, somehow the actual phone functionality has not been given too much priority. Looks at the "calling" screen. it looks so ugly .. those two big buttons saying "End call" and "Hold Call" ... I think more energy was wasted on other things than the actual phone functionality.

Agreed, they have neglected phone element, it could have been so much better with a little thought. Heres hoping the p910 will be an improvenment.

I must say that sometimes after I sent the message when I go to the send folder some messages sent are displayed not with the name but with the number. Perhaps is a bug that appears sometimes.

@energetic
it depends on how you send it
- if you go to messagges --> sms --> new --> phonebook and choose a name, only number will show
- if you go to contacts --> contact --> right click on the number --> send sms then the name will show.
