i have a vodafone branded k700i (this is the second one i've had in two months due to this problem!) and when i scroll through the contacts some of the numbers have vanished or different contacts have the same number when they shouldn't. the numbers are still stored correctly in the phone though as when i make a call it call the right person with the right number but it is still a very disturbing fault. has anyone else had this problem? when i phoned sony erricson uk they claimed no-one else had this problem and it was news to them! does anyone know what has gone wrong or how to fix this?

not sure if exactly the same - a mate has a K700i from phones4u - on o2 but completely un-branded or messed with - when he saves a change to a contact - it comes up with the "contact saved message" but it names a completely different contact in his book!! - one that he didnt edit. Annoying but perhaps it will be updated by firmware - although i have not had much fun with that recently

in addition - sometime i scroll through the contacts and the name is there but all the phone numbers for that contact are missing!! - or just seem to delete themselves. praying for a sucessful firmware upgrade here!

these contacts problems have been discussed a few times

heres the last thread from last week

K700i - Disappearing phone numbers from Contacts!

it might be interesting for you to search out the others rather than repeating it all here but most certainly you will need to wait for a firmware update to fix the problem.

its not one that I have experienced btw
