hello all

well my SE P900 survived a dump in the water closet ! after a gentle cleaning and drying (thanx the official SE service point shop), it turned on again and everthing seems to work ok...

I dropped my P900 from waist height onto the pavement while walking down the road while trying to slot it into the pocket on my bag. However theres a strap that goes around the pocket and I mistook this for the pocket, so it slid all the way through and fell to the ground. The stylus came out, but as far as to this day I cannot see a single scratch on it anwhere, and the unit itself is not creaking. Good old Japanese plastic craftmanship.

I don't think this is Japanese plastic... Mine was made in France.

I was unlucky.. i dropped my P900 getting out the car.. (only had it 1 month) fell out of my hand onto the road.. the screen was cracked although still seemed to work ok.. i claimed for a new one anyway as the crack was too bad... i was yes gutted.. i'm a bit more (very) careful now..

So dont try this at home they do not bounce..

my p900 is battered to f**k.

my contract with O2 finishes in a few months and i was going to sell it and put the money towards a p910. but yesterday i found deep scratch on my up-to-now perfect screen. knocked about 50 quid off the price i reckon. don't know how it happened and now i'm not a happy bunny.

and the amount of times i've said that a sreen protector would be a waste of money.
