||A^%$"&^&(*"^(&^£(&"^(&^£"^£&"£"

u get the idea?

I doubt it is your K700, it is almost certainly a network problem. Are your chums also on O2? How many chums are affected by this problem, one, two, lots? I would imagine that it is either a problem with O2 at your end or a problem with O2/your chum's network at your chum's end. I would ring 02 and ask to speak to someone who would actually know what is wrong and try and get them to look into it for you, you could ask them to eset your SMS settings; you could also ask your friends to check with their network(s).

@cyprio7 - Glad to see you around esato mate ! Also, try checking your sms fone's settings But just like what @damo55 have said, it is more probably a network problem If I may just add dude, try writing in the Discussion Forum with all the words/phrases spelled-out . . . You are not sending sms here anymore mate, you are in an international forum my friend Good Luck ! Cheers !

I subscribed to a home250 bolt on,about 2 weeks ago.It fails to work in its designated homezone(my house).The only reason they give is that, i only have one cell mast near me.So i've paid £5 for a service that doesn't even function.O2 call centre employees are a complete waste of time i'm afraid. OK, the language used was a little harsh, but I agree in principle. When I had problems with O2 it was hard to find a representative that I could have a normal conversation with. Now I'm not blaming those people for their poor english, I blame O2 for employing those people to deal with a mainly english speaking customer base!

Now back to the topic..

Are you on an O2 online contract? Try using email to contact O2 about this problem. It's slower, but in my case (twice now) I have managed to get more satisfactory responses via email.

@scotsboy;i am not racist at all.But why don't you phone 4445?I,ll bet my bottom dollar,that 75% of the time it will be an asian call assistant that answers your call.I'm sorry,but it is the truth. This message was posted from a Nokia

@damo55

Since masseur has deleted the initial post you made and subsequent posts on this subject from this thread I will refrain from being drawn into an argument with you, however, I will make a short point if I may.
I can certainly see a point in complaining about the fact that many British companies give jobs to people in other countries at the expense of Britons (whatever their colour may be), but if a chap (or chapess) is trying to help me with something I really couldn't care if they are Asian, American, African, European, Australasian or any other ethnic origin you care to name. Some foriegn chaps may not have a good command of English and I can certainly see why someone would complain about that, however, your comment insinuated that the fact that the chaps you dealt with were Asian was part of the problem.

Hi, i work for o2 and have had a few complaints about not recieving text messages in the shop where i work. What i say to customers is that in your network settings pick manual search for network and pick a different network to register. obviously this will fail if your on o2 but after it fails choose o2 again to re-register with the network.
After it has completed turn off ur phone then switch it back on and send a text. This should push all the pending messages on your number out.

Hope this helps
Tony
