Hello,
I've tried searching the archives about this program, but nothing comes close to the issue I'm seeing, so I hope you folks can help.
Essentially I'm trying to update the firmware in my P900.
Last night I updated the PC Suite software to the lastest version, installed this on my Windows XP laptop (SP1 installed) and made a backup of the phone.
I then followed the Update Service web page, compared my CDA number (162004/8) to the latest available and found I could upgrade.
During the process I was asked to download seus_setup115.exe which I have done. I was expecting some instructions on what to do with this
as I was also asked whether I wanted to run an applet, which I accepted.
Whenever I try to run the seus_setup115 program it proceeds through the unpacking, then flashes up a warning and asks me to choose another location. I select C:\temp and it goes through the whole cycle again, before telling me to choose another location.
After 5 attempts at this I gave up.
When I looked in the directories I'd chosen I see a few files and subdirectories that look very much like a java archive.
I'm stumped as to what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help?
Oh, I've tried this with Mozilla 1.7 and Firefox 0.9.
Thanks,
Jason.

Welcome to Esato, a fellow Jason like me.
Have you tried unpacking the archive maually? What about disk space?

Hello,
Thanks for replying. I did try unpacking it manually ... WinZip said it looked like a zip file but with added extras and there's no problems over disk space.
I kept hacking away at this overnight and finally got it working. Not sure if there's one fix here, but here's what I did:
1) Cleared out the cache from Mozilla
2) Ensured the link prefetch option was switched off
3) Downloaded seus_setup115 (yet again) from the SE website
4) Double clicked said file ... this time it installed
Bizarre! Go figure?
Later I ran into the problem where the web page said it was checking the SE Update Service web site, but did nothing for 10 minutes or so.
I checked the Esato messages and discovered that the Java invocation depended upon your browser ... why? Java's supposed to be platform independant *Grrr*
So I started up Opera, went through the links and bingo the Java applet started up. Wow. Around 20 minutes later my phone was upgraded.
What a hassle, but it finally worked.
Now to see if my bluetooth headset works properly
