You know that little purple clock icon in the bottom right corner of the p900 flip open display? It says 2 o clock. Wouldnt it be cool if it actually displayed the correct time?!

That would actually have been quite handy.
It's a bit annoying when you have to leave what you are doing to check the time.

Good idea as I guess that line gets refreshed to update the battery and signal strength. However, some of the older members may find it a tad difficult to read.

.... or you could buy a wristwatch!!
Kidding aside, it would be useful if you just wanted a quick glance at the time without twisting your wrist (and the phone if it's in that hand) to look at your watch.

It does seem like a wasted opportunity but I wonder if I would be able to see the time changing on such a small clock if I don't have my glasses on!
the best solution to having to stop what you are doing to see the time is
TimePane

i hav a wrist watch for that purpose.. dont like to watch the time on my p900.. and dont lose much of energy while watching time on wrist watch.. but still the topic was that u cud see the time itself without clicking the clock icon.. that wud be nice.. hope p910 will hav it..

If you click on the clock and then read the time and click on the clock again the displayed time disappears and then you are back to where you were. However if you click view then you leave what you are doing.

Actually just looking at my phone now in it's (powered) cradle, it would be nice if the screen saver clock would kick in whilst on charge.

The clock on P900 same size as on Clié UX50. But on UX50 clock is working!
