AUDIO - FAINT ELECTRICAL NOISE, CHATTER, BROKEN RADIO SIGNALS. BUILDUP.

V/O
"...a bad signal"

BURST TO. EXT. NIGHT.

Electrical Noise. Zooming, fast paced through atmosphere, cutting through white clouds, rushing through down to earth at the speed of a bullet, falling towards a man and right up to his phone. We see its a SE 910.

MUSIC CUT.

SLOW MO PAN round handset with TIME SPLICE background traffic, lights blur. Electical noise around handset. It comes to life, screams with energy...

WIDE. Over city. City lights start dimming, a blackoout?. HOLD.

CLOSE UP. Hand tightens grip over handset. Eyes, narrow. Wide shot. Lamposts sparke and bend towards user, torrent of wind around him, everything electrical starts to explode, everything gets bright, its all getting sucked into the 910.

FEET SHOT. User leaps superhumanly 10 stories into the air. LOW ANGLE. safely he comes to crash on a skylight.

INT. BALLROOM.

A rival phone manufacturers product launch. All guests, bowtie and gown, champange in hand, notice the thud above, LOW TRACKING SHOT. Looking up theysee a shadow mysterously leaping across the skylight. Then, quickly followed by a thunderous explosion and like falling dominios, their pockets spontaneaously start exploding like firecrackers as their mobiles burst into flames. Anything electric in the ballroom bursts into a shower of sparks following the escaping user like a giant wave of static fire.

Soon calm. Devestated room, small fires. Bewildered look on guests. Competitors logo hangs in flames, swings lossly until it falls to floor.

VISUAL TIMING WITH MUSIC - SMACK-BURST BACK IN TO Fluke-Absurd (Whitewash Edit)

EXT. CITYSCAPE.

A leaping figure followed by a wave of darkness spreads across the lower dusk skyline. Leaping from building to building while the white electricity travels like a lightning virus devourering any electrical implement in order to catch up with him, the user plays along like a possessed puppet. Hold his P10 he lets himself fling over roofs, down shafts, around trafficposts and across the city. Like spiderman on fire he is propelled from corner to corner to evade the electricty building up behind him. entire city blocks are combusting only a split moment behind as the user speeds past like a racecar thats lost control.

Sirens wail in the distance as the user travels deeper into the city, behind him like a mythical snake pumped with lightning slitheres from lamposts, to headlights, to town clocks and to a tv shop, until cunningly finds an over head tram line.

INT. TRAM.

MUSIC SOUNDS TINNY LIKE IT COMES FROM SOMEONES HEADPHONES

Passengers sullen, buisnessmen reading papers, mother and child arguing over comic, trendy skateboarder on rival cellphone. All is tired. The carriage is dark. Suddenly a bright white light, the entire tram explode with colour, everyone is overcome with electrical shock as the electrical monster screams overhead along the wires to catch up with the user. The newspapers go up in flames, the child shuts up ending up with shocked hair, and trendy kid finds phone has burst open and flaming on his skateboard. They look out the window in bewilderment, as the neighbour hood goes dark and the bright light trails off into the distance, leaving a wreaked carriage behind.

CUT TO. EXT. OUTSIDE TV SHOP.

LONG LOW SHOT UP TO USER. He stands tall, cool, charged with energy. His clothes in rips, but appears to have a makeshift cape, from a singed curtain, billowing in the electrical storm brewing. With his back to the tv shop window, he raises his arm, spins 910, it gets faster and faster. The flip whacks open, it stops spinning in a instant. User aims it, heroicly, at oncoming electical storm charging towards him.

USER
(snaps out of his daze, looks at his phone aimed infront of his nose)
'Smart...phone!'

Then as the snaking elctrical virus, comes forth, it aims for its prey only to sucum to the open phone and instead decomposes, falls weak and gets sucked into the handset. Its futile attempts to resist are met with more power coming from with the 910. Until, finally, the flip snaps shut and it is gone completely. The street looks like a bomb hit it, but in the middle stands one man. One user. Triumpant. CLOSE UP. Eye winks.

A swedish online store has a preliminary delivery date for the P910: 20040930 (=still Q3...) and a preliminary price of 650Euro (just sligthly higher than the P900, which is "on sale" at the moment..).
