I believe that you have to go to your phone's accessories menu (under connectivity) once you're connected to fMA.
On a similar note, I'm currently working on a remote control application that I hope to be superior to fMA - it's currently in very alpha stages, but can be downloaded at
http://www.lim.com.au/PuppetMaster
The page says that it requires WinXP SP1 or higher. This isn't entirely accurate any longer - it will also work on WinNT/2k/XP that have 3rd party software/drivers to allow COM port connections to your mobile phone.
Interested to hear feedback.

Did you give it a try? I've uploaded newer versions in the last couple of days that, when used as a WinAMP remote control, should show you:
Song name,
Artist
Time elaspsed / Total Time
And also allow you to fast forward, rewind by holding right/left, and change tracks using up/down arrows.
Still improving on it.

Hi there
Just tried Puppet Master using the following hardware:

K700i
Belkin F8T001v2 BT Class 1 adapter
Homebuilt AMD3000+ PC with WinXPSP2
First impressions look good. Mouse Mode keeps dropping the BT connection but WinAmp & WinMediaPlayer control looks good. Will try out using my

T630 & T68i later.

I'm not really sure but if you people are trying to use winamp via k700i,
Try to use the build-in HID feature, you'll need to make a id profile for winamp, which can be esily done via a application called k700 remote profiler. you can get it on the mobile9 forums
