I'm new to this, but can someone run through the process of getting my mp3 tracks from my pc to my K700i.

There are a few ways that I transfer MP3's over to the K700. Use either Bluetooth, Infrared, USB cable or email. My prefered method is bluetooth, it's simpler. The K700 will automatically put the MP3 in the correct folder.

I beleive Sony/Ericsson supply the software with the phone. It's called "Sony/Ericsson File Manager". You can download it form their web site for free.

If you'd like to listen to music, you'd better use MP4 music instead. With several tools like iTunes you can create quite good 96 kbps clips. The MP4 files cannot be used as ringtones.

Really? vodafone install their own firmware, with all their crap vodafone live menus and things, and disable the mp3 function! Did you actually get your k700 from vodafone, or from an independant shop with a vodafone contract?

he means that voda phone branded k700i cant use mp3 as ringtones ! you can listen to mp3 butt not as ringtone!
